Music Ministry at Flowing Grace

Special Music Programs at Batavia United Methodist Church
Special music is presented twice a year at Batavia United Methodist Church. Information will be listed here as it is available for the Christmas and Easter Cantatas.

Sing We Now of Christmas, the Christmas cantata, will be presented on December 19, 2010, at the 9:00am and 10:30am worship services and again at 4:00pm in the afternoon for the community. The Chancel Choir will be joined by the Cantata Singers, Called By Name, and the Batavia High School Chamber Strings as well as members of the Batavia High School choral groups. The program includes scripture readings and a combination of new carols and old favorites. All are welcome.

In His Own Words, the Easter Cantata will be presented on Palm/Passion Sunday, April 17, 2010. It is a musical presentation of the words of Christ as His life led him to the Crucifixion and Resurrection. The program will feature the Chancel Choir, Cantata Singers, Called By Name, and the Batavia High School Chamber Strings. It will be presented at the 9:00am and 10:30am worship services.
